Commented tour includes the entrance to the Cathedral of St. Emmeram, Diocesan Museum and Casemates. Cathedral Tower tour is available on request. Our guide emphasizes the history of Great Moravian Empire and Mission of Sts. Cyril and Methodius. Documents and archaeological finds displayed in the Museum describe the work of Saints brothers in Great Moravia. Visitors can learn about Glagolitic script, read Great Moravian documents and get acquainted with Great Moravian princes.

Pilgrims visiting the Nitra Castle are after the Holy Mass offered a short tour of the Cathedral of St. Emmeram, Diocesan Museum and Memorial room of Cardinal Ján Chryzostom Korec. Commented tour focuses on the Patron Saints of the diocese – St. Svorad Andrew and St. Benedict, Patron of the Cathedral – St. Emmeram and life of Cardinal Ján Chryzostom Korec. Tomáš the Falconer
Interesting falconry demonstrations with flying displays are intended for both younger and older visitors. Falconer Tomáš will gladly share some interesting tidbits about the life of these kings of the sky; introduce principles of today falconry and its history. The experience is enhanced by the possibility of petting an adorable owl or holding many birds of prey on your hands. The lost treasure of the Nitra Castle
During the tour, pupils will learn in a fun way about our history, art and culture. This program is intended for children aged 8 to 13 years. The treasure hunt can be quite challenging. During our search, we will have to overcome various difficulties and deal with different tasks. Those, who listen carefully, can easily solve every riddle.
